FYI: the French bustle is the ONLY one that stays intact all night, and most bridal shops do not label the strings (ask them to color code or label in some way, please). I usually bustle the dresses for my clients because the person who goes with the Bride to learn is never anywhere to be found when the dress actually needs to be bustled. long plus size bridesmaid dresses
The traditional bustle is awesome the way they show it in this video, however, modern versions are two to three buttons (usually on lace - impossible to find) and they break EVERY SINGLE TIME. In my 15 years, I've only once seen this version of a traditional bustle and it was on a 100-year-old vintage gown.
Happy dress shopping!
